What this dataset contains

Mapped perimeters of California wildfires from 1878 to 2025, from CAL FIRE's historic fire perimeter record. See where fires have burned and how often the same places have burned again. Each perimeter carries its fire name, year, decade and mapped acres for filtering and styling.
